There is approximately three inches depth dimension to this bag, and the bag does shape nicely with weight and has ample interior space. Cashmere & rec.silk shoulder bag This is a beautiful handmade handbag. The left side is a hand-stitched in Kashmire. The type of stitching is a called crewel work. It's a chain stitch pattern of wool yarn in a floral pattern into a cotton fabric know as dosooti. The back side of the bag and the right side is made of a tightly hand woven recycled silk yarn that is soft but sturdy. The shoulder strap is also made of the same recycled silk material. The bag measures approx. 11 inches wide by 11 inches high and hangs down about 22 inches. The shoulder strap is nice and wide at about 2 inches. There is a zipper closure with a cotton tie as well.
